Property Tax Information

In the State of New Hampshire, the property tax year runs from April 1st to March 31st.
The Town of Gilsum bills property taxes semi-annually.
Property tax bills are usually mailed in May or June (billed at ½ of the prior year’s tax rate), and again in November (final tax rate).

Tax bills are mailed directly to the property owners to the address on file.
It is the responsibility of the property owner to know when taxes are due.
Property owners that do not receive a bill, please call the Tax Collector’s Office.
If the property owner’s taxes are escrowed, it is their responsibility to forward a copy of the original bill to their mortgage company.
